The Coro del Cabanyal is a spectacular international choir deeply rooted in the vibrant neighborhood of El Cabanyal in Valencia. Over the past four years, we have achieved an incredible milestone, growing from a modest group of 20 singers into a powerful 70-member ensemble. Our community is wonderfully diverse, bringing together people from different professional fields, parents, and those without children. Despite our varied backgrounds, we are all bound together by one single, passionate goal: to create beautiful music. Through hard work and dedication, we have evolved into a highly professional team without losing our warmth. We have become true friends who love spending time together, sharing experiences both inside and outside of rehearsals.
In this multicultural hub, we have even embraced each other’s cultures and learned one another’s languages. The smooth, daily operation of our choir is fully driven by the inspiring dedication of volunteers from within our own ranks. What truly sets us apart from other traditional choirs is our radical openness to the world. Absolutely anyone who loves to sing is welcome to join our musical family, regardless of their background. There is no stressful audition process and no intimidating entry exam to pass. We firmly believe that music should be inclusive rather than exclusive, throwing its doors wide open to everyone.
