A New Symphony: How Learning the Violin at 42 Sparked My Musician Project
They say it is never too late to start something new, and at 42 years old, I decided to pick up the violin. What started as a personal challenge quickly turned into a life-altering journey, opening the doors to a truly magical and breathtaking world of musicians. As I immersed myself in the melodies, the rehearsals, and the raw passion of this community, I realized I possessed the perfect tool to capture this universe: my camera.
Driven by my deep fascination with this new world, my “Musician Project” was born.
Using my photography, I began to document the sweat, the dedication, the backstage nerves, and the pure euphoria of making music. Because I am learning an instrument myself, I don’t just look at musicians through a lens—I feel their rhythm, understand their struggles, and share their passion. This project is my visual tribute to the beautiful, soul-stirring world of sound, captured by someone who fell in love with it later in life and just had to document its magic.
